Peekove is a file viewer for iPhone and iPad. It opens PDF, Markdown, source code, HTML, EPUB, images, video and Office documents, and it browses and extracts ZIP, RAR and 7z archives. Everything runs on your device.

Getting started

  1. Open Peekove and tap + to import files, or use Download from Link to fetch a file from a URL.
  2. Tap a file to preview it. Markdown, code and web files render with their formatting.
  3. For an archive, tap it to see what is inside, then extract a single file or everything.

FAQ

Which formats can I open? Text, source code, Markdown, HTML, SVG, PDF, EPUB, images, video, audio and Office documents, plus ZIP, RAR and 7z archives.

Why can’t I preview or extract a RAR or 7z archive? RAR and 7z support is part of Peekove Pro, a one-time in-app purchase. ZIP archives stay free.

Does Peekove upload my files? No. Files are processed entirely on your device. The app only uses the network when you use Download from Link, and then only to reach the URL you typed.

How do I delete a file? Open the file list, long-press a file, and choose Delete. Deleting a file removes it from the app’s folder.

I bought Peekove Pro on another device. How do I restore it? Open the Peekove Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Privacy

Peekove does not collect, store or transmit personal data or file content. Files stay in the app’s sandbox and are removed if you uninstall the app. There are no ads and no analytics SDKs.
